Miss World 2018 Winner is Miss Mexico Vanessa Ponce De Leon

Miss MexicoVanessa Ponce de Leon‘ was crowned Miss World 2018 on Saturday, December 8, in Sanya, China. Beautiful Moment when Manushi ChhillarMiss World 2017‘ from India passed on the crown to De Leon after the latter emerged victorious among 117 other hopefuls from around the world.

118 contestants from all around the world participated in the pageant and
winner of Miss World 2018 is Miss Mexico Vanessa Ponce De Leon. Miss Thailand‘s Nicolene Pichapa Limsnukan emerged as the runner-up to De Leon. The grand event took place at Sanya City Arena in China.

25-years-old Vanessa Ponce De Leon has a degree in International Commerce from the University of Guanajuato and also holds a diploma in human rights. Vanessa works with a school called Nenemi which gives intercultural education to children from indigenous tribes. Vanessa is a full-time model and winner of Mexico’s Next Top Model. Ironically one of the judges of the night Mariana Berumen, Miss World Mexico 2012 was first runner-up to Vanessa at Mexico’s Next Top Model.
